Our experienced teachers aim to see every student in terms of the individual’s abilities, needs and ambitions. Academic knowledge is squarely in focus, but SSHL takes an even broader perspective. The concept of “knowledge for life” in our brand platform also covers respect for each other’s differences and the need to remain open and SSHL is a boarding school. Our primary mission is to provide Swedish students both from home and abroad with a high-quality education in a boarding school setting. SSHL also welcomes international boarding students as well as day students from Sigtuna and surrounding municipalities. The students wear school uniforms on Wednesdays and on special occasions.

SSHL policy on school uniforms: As part of the SSHL community, all students should wear correct school uniform at school, to strengthen the community and to emphasize the similarity between the students instead of the differences. We believe that a school uniform also may dampen the compulsion towards fashion and brand trends. A few words from our principal!
